Arrival by Car

  • Inntalautobahn (A12 - toll sticker obligation, A13 - toll sticker obligation and toll charge)
  • Exit Zillertal, federal road (B169) to Mayrhofen
  • Tuxer Landesstrasse directionHintertux.(motorway exit Zillertal to Hintertux 50 km).

The Tuxer Landesstraße from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is well passable all year round. Chain obligation may apply for snow and ice rinks! Maximum clearance height for avalanche galleries 4.20 metres.

Please note: winter tyres are compulsory in Austria from 1st November to 15th April.

  • to the express train station Jenbach/Tirol
  • continue with the Zillertal Railway or the Zillertal Bus to Mayrhofen
